Holismind Behavioral Health provides Behavioral and Mental health services including Psychiatric Evaluations, Medication Management, Psychotherapy, Substance Abuse Treatment including Suboxone, Sublocade injections, and vivitrol injections to the residents of Baltimore County and its surroundings. We are a team of Dual-Board Certified Practitioners in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP-C) with over 15 years of experience in caring for patients across the entire lifespan with co-occurring disorders. We offer services to children, adolescents, and adults in a safe, friendly, and comfortable environment. We also offer Virtual/Telehealth appointment options that allow you to have appointments in the comfort of your homes.

Psychiatric Evaluation

We conduct an initial assessment and evaluation, identify treatment goals and allow you to participate in the treatment decision making process. We believe in shared decision making and will guide you every step of the way. We offer an individualized treatment approach based on client-specific needs to include medication management and psychotherapy and periodically evaluate and monitor your progress.

Suboxone Treatment

Suboxone is an FDA approved medication for treatment of opioid use disorder. We offer Suboxone maintenance therapy along with psychotherapy to help address issues related to opioid dependence, withdrawal symptoms, cravings, and relapse prevention.

Medication Management

Our experienced nurse practitioners use individual and holistic approaches for medication management services. Knowing that taking medication can be uncomfortable, we are your team to support and assist you during the decision making process. 

Collaboration of Care

The evidenced-based treatment recommendation will not only include medication management but psychotherapy and alternative care. Holismind BH offers referrals to appropriate types of psychotherapy services.

INSURANCES ACCEPTED

We accept most major insurances;

Medicare, Medicaid/Optum, Blue Cross Blue Shield Carefirst, Cigna, Aetna, United Health Care.

Pending insurances are Tricare and Johns Hopkins.

Cash pay services; Start on May 1, 2024;

Initial psychiatric evaluation $ 350 per visit.

Medication management follow-up $175 per visit.

POLICIES

Appointments and Cancellations

To cancel or reschedule please call within 24 hours of appointment.
Starting on May 1, 2024 First no show or late cancellations will be waived. Second no-show will be charged $50 before being able to reschedule for follow up.
More than 2 no shows or late cancellation will result in discharge.

Controlled Substances

All controlled substance medications will not be refilled sooner than the time the prescription was given.
Benzodiazepine will not be prescribed as a daily use medication. We minimize the use of these types of medications. No high dosage will be given.
Practice will rarely give short acting stimulants per standard of care.
Aggression or inappropriate behavior toward prescribers or staff regarding controlled substances will result in immediate discharge.

ABOUT US

Angela

Angela Longe is Dual-Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). She holds a Postgraduate Masters Degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Wilkes University and a Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) from Walden University. Her education background allows her to provide a holistic care approach to her patients. She has over 15 years of nursing experience caring for all ages with various comorbidities across the patient lifespan. She spent 10 years working in Critical Care before transitioning to Advanced Practice Role. She has extensive knowledge and experience in treating patients with mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and somatic illness in various settings including: inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, residential rehabilitation and outpatient treatment centers. In the past 5 years her area of focus has been working with adolescents and adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Her passion is helping her patients find inner and physical healing.

Wicki

Wicki is a nurse practitioner who holds degrees in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family nurse practitioner (FNP-C). She is qualified to practice in both primary care and psychiatry. This includes diagnosing, treating, and prescribing medication for patients age 6 to adults. Wicki’s focus is patient’s holistic treatment which includes traditional medication management, prescribing up-to-date psychiatric medications and alternative medicines (lifestyle medication, nutrition, exercise, stress management, or vitamins and supplements). With over 10 years in patient care in various settings including emergency medicine, critical care, substance use disorder, and outpatient psychiatric settings, Wicki’s experiences and specialties allow her to treat her patients through their entire lifespan. She believes in mind/body/spiritual connection which is important in a mental health journey. She is currently accepting new patients and offers Telehealth and in-person appointments. Wicki accepts various commercial insurances, Medicaid, and self-pay.
